 Any one else feeling the 'joy' that comes with filling out finaid apps? The FAFSA isn't available til Jan. 1st but the need access is up now. I started my taxes and I have a new found respect for what my mom does every year. Anyway had to rant...Pleae tell me I'm not alone.

I'm applying for Fall 2009 and I'm going to be turning in my FAFSA as soon as I get my tax forms. One thing that worries me is the effect the economy will have on financial aid. What is the general consensus on this so far? I keep telling my parents that everything will be fine, but I'm just feeding them bull**** that I don't even believe anymore. ( Read more... )

1. I was looking at UIC's psychology admission webpage, potentially might apply there, but it says one year of college math and one year of physical/biological lab required. I'm applying to grad school for a master's degree for the spring, since I hadn't decided on my direction yet by the fall admissions deadline. My goal is to move in November (or at the latest, in the first week of December); that will give me at least a month to find an apartment and get settled in before classes start ( Read more... )

The website will tell you deadlines for your state/schools.

Kind of sucks to be filling this out right after applications though!
